Shane Varjassy

Shane Varjassy is an associate at Bow River Law in Calgary, Alberta. Shane practices in the areas of civil litigation, including employment law, labour law and human rights.

Before joining Bow River Law, Shane articled at a boutique law firm in Saskatoon and practiced as a litigation associate representing clients in civil provincial courts, the Federal Court of Canada, and several different administrative tribunals and alternative dispute resolution processes.
While attending law school, Shane volunteered with a legal clinic providing legal services to marginalized individuals in Saskatoon.

Shane was raised in Yorkton, Saskatchewan, and obtained his Juris Doctor from the University of Saskatchewan College of Law in 2021. He currently lives in Calgary with his cat. Outside of the office, Shane enjoys reading, playing soccer, and watching football on Sundays.
