Daniel Jonasson is an associate with Bow River Law and practices in the areas of employment law, labour law, human rights, and civil litigation.
Before joining Bow River Law, Daniel articled at a large full service firm in Vancouver and practiced for several years as a litigation associate at a mid-sized full-service Calgary firm, where he gained significant experience in proceedings at the Alberta Court of King’s Bench and Alberta Court of Justice.
During his time in law school in Vancouver, Daniel provided pro bono legal services to the homeless population in Vancouver’s Downtown Eastside by volunteering with the Criminal Law Clinic and the Homeless ID Project.
Daniel was raised in Calgary and educated in Vancouver, obtaining his Juris Doctor from the Peter Allard School of Law in 2021. He currently lives in Calgary with his fiancé and cat. In his spare time, Daniel enjoys running, reading, exploring new restaurants, and writing on his antique typewriter.
