Employment Lawyer
Stephanie Barron is an associate with Bow River Law LLP and practices in the areas of employment law, labour law, and human rights.
Stephanie has experience representing both employees and employers in a broad range of workplace matters, including wrongful dismissal, constructive dismissal, severance entitlements, employment agreements, restrictive covenants, workplace discrimination, accommodation, and disability-related issues.
Stephanie advises clients at every stage of a dispute, from providing strategic advice and negotiating settlements to preparing for and appearing in court and administrative proceedings. She is passionate about helping clients navigate what can often be a difficult and uncertain time in their lives. Stephanie takes the time to understand not only the legal issues at hand, but also what matters most to her clients and what they hope to achieve. She provides practical, thoughtful advice in a down-to-earth and approachable manner, helping clients understand their options and feel confident in moving forward.
Before joining Bow River Law LLP, Stephanie practiced at a boutique employment firm where she focused on employee-side employment and human rights matters. She previously practiced at an international firm where she gained experience in civil litigation and corporate commercial matters. These experiences provided Stephanie with a broad foundation and insight into the different perspectives that arise in workplace disputes.
Outside of the office, Stephanie enjoys exploring Calgary’s restaurants and local events, and spending time with her young family. She is an avid reality television fan and has a particular obsession for anything on Bravo.
